Attorney Eunjin Chang was involved with various legal and business work for over two decades. At the age of 18, he started a minor exterior construction business with 40 full-time employees by obtaining a loan of $5,000 from a local bank. Eunjin Chang decided to enter the legal field after working in various fields and realized that the knowledge and the ability to make the law work for his desire is needed to become a successful businessman.
While preparing for the California bar examination, he worked in various legal fields, learning from experienced attorneys in multiple areas, which later helped him to gain extensive knowledge of putting different professional regions together to form a customized solution for the individual client.
During the financial crisis of 2009, he opened his first law office, providing pro bono services to those who are not able to afford legal services, and through it, he was able to experience various aspects of legal fields.
He focused on helping the weakest group in the society by providing affordable legal services, and every weekend he volunteered at a local church to counsel and provided legal assistance without cost.
He litigated and negotiated hundreds of contracts and mortgages in favor of his clients against the big banks, who took advantage of them during the real estate boom.
In 2012, many Asian immigrants fell victim to immigration scams that promise green cards for money, and he began to reach out to Asia to provide his service. He helped many Asian immigrants to migrate to the US with legal status, and used his legal and business knowledge; they were able to settle down in the US without any difficulties.
During this time, the Asian clients needed both international business and taxation assistance. He utilized his past business experiences in conjunction with his legal knowledge to internationalize his client's existing companies outside of the US. Through the process, he found various ways to reduce or avoid taxes in a given country using different legal vehicles. He assisted in many multi-million dollar M&A transactions between companies in China and the US.
In 2014, he traveled to the Middle East, representing a small medical company in South Korea and compete against mega-sized hospitals in Korea and won a $15 million contract with a local company in the Middle East. Also, he pioneered and obtained a medical license of a Korean doctor in another country through an administrative process that did not exist before.
Currently, he travels throughout the world, providing various legal services to avoid unnecessary taxes and to maximize the profit through business and legal consultations. He spends most of his time providing pro bono consultations to various Christian organizations and non-profit organizations to reduce and eliminate legal liabilities in the ever-changing legal environment.
